Every model is built or adapted from your rules, your data and the limits of how they can be used.
Engagements are led by Richard Beauregard, founder of Subspace Computing.
His background includes about fifteen years in actuarial consulting, with a focus on calculation software, projections and systems architecture.
He also designed Astria, the calculation engine developed by Subspace Computing.
This experience makes it possible to address together the model assumptions, their software implementation and day-to-day use.

An initial conversation clarifies the need, the tools in use and the expected outcome. A walkthrough with fictional or anonymized data can be enough at this stage.
Define
We propose an engagement with scope, deliverables, timeline and fees. When a prior analysis is needed, it is treated as a distinct first phase.
Build and verify
Work is checked against representative examples and reference results agreed with you. Gaps, assumptions and limits are documented.
Hand over
Delivery includes the explanations needed to use and maintain the tool. Terms for handing over code, files and usage rights are set out in the agreement.
An engagement can stay entirely in your existing environment: Excel workbooks, custom code and scripts, or internal calculation applications.
When the need is repeated model execution or integration across several systems, Astria may be part of the solution. Its use is discussed and priced in the proposal.
Consulting is available independently of Astria: the scope is your calculation work, not necessarily our platform.
